1 week

Our little man is already a week old. It's so crazy how time flies by. Tyson has been such an angel. He eats, sleeps, and poops like a champ. He has been staying awake a little longer each day. I love his blue eyes (I wish they would stay blue) he just sits and watches you its so sweet. Last night he slept for 4 1/2 hours straight. When I woke up and realized how long he had slept I panicked that something was wrong, but I found my little bug just waking up. Haas is so cute with him and loves him so much. I was really surprised at how hands on he has been. I have felt bad that I haven't gotten much done around the house since being at home but after nursing Tyson all day and all of his poopy diapers I just want to hold him and watch him sleep. I am hoping that I can get into some sort of routine shortly.

Tyson Reid Lancaster is Here!!!!

Tyson Reid was born at 12:29 am on Thursday March 19. Weighing 5lbs 2oz and 17 1/2 inches long.

On Wednesday morning I got to the hospital at 7:30 and they started me on the Pitocin at 8:50. I got the epidural at about 12 and at 2 Tyson's heartrate started to drop at the same time as the baby in the room next to us. The baby next to us had a heartrate of 40 for 8 mins and then they couldnt find the heartbeat. There were 4 of us there that day that were all delivering by the same Dr so things were a little hectic for him. They thought they were going to have to do an emergency c section to get the baby out so they stopped the Pitocin on me so that they could take care of the other lady. At 4:30 they started me back up and almost immediately the contractions started to come faster. At 11 pm I was complete and they said that I could start pushing but he just didnt want to come out and I was so tired I could barely push. But after 1 1/2 of pushing and help with the vacuum our little guy arrived and he is just as cute as ever. He has been so good and hardly ever cries. He has been a really good breast feeder next thing to accomplish will be getting his days and nights straightened out so mommy can sleep at night again.

Wednesday is the day!!

I went to the doctor yesterday for my weekly checkup. I am now 37 weeks and because my blood pressure has still been high even with taking meds 2x a day the doctor decided that it would be better for Tyson to make his appearance a little sooner rather than later. So wednesday will be the day!!!!! I can not wait to meet him and for this horrible heartburn to go back to the pits of hell where it came from!! I was planning on starting my maternity leave on the 23rd but instead I got to go back into work on friday and turn in my papers and my leave has officially begun YAY!!! Im sure everyone at work is happy that they made it through my pregnancy alive considering that I was always in the worst mood when I was there and was just waiting for this day to come. So congrats to you all for living through 9 months now you can have 3 without me.

Now that we now the day Im nervous for what is to come and I am praying for a peaceful, sweet baby that I am really hoping will not be colicky and will sleep well at night. I know that the sleeping at night will be a stretch but I can still pray for it.

My cuddlebug

This was too cute not to share. My little Berkeley has been super cuddly lately. Im sure that she realizes that things are about to change and she sure is getting in her share of attention while she can. Everytime I lay down she has to lay right on top of me. I sure do love that baby girl!!!

2 Years

I cant believe it has already been 2 years since we got married. Time has flown by so fast. I have had so much fun in the last 3 years since I started dating and got married to Haas. He has been the best husband throughout this time. I am now in my
9th month of pregnancy and I have to say that I have been feeling really bad for Haas. He has put up with all of my crazy mood swings, crying uncontrollably, and just me being super irritated all the time. I dont know how I can possibly make it up to him but for our anniversary tonight I have decided to make dinner. All of you who know me know that I hate to cook. Haas is the best cook and he always makes dinner no matter how long he has spent at work. I must say that it is wonderful having a guy that cooks for you all the time.
We decided that for our anniversary we are going to buy a new bedroom set. So a couple weeks ago we went to RC Willey and found a set that we love and we are going to be going to buy it this weekend. We spent all last weekend getting our room cleaned out so that we can bring in the new set. Haas also got me a diaper bag that I have been wanting for a long time. It came in this weekend and I have already got it stocked with everything that we will need to bring this little guy home. I got Haas a PSP so that he can keep busy when we do go into the hospital. A couple weeks ago I started doing the nonstress tests at the hospital and my blood pressure was too high for them to let me go so I had to stay overnight. It was so boring and we didnt have anything to do so we thought that the PSP would be perfect. Haas stayed with me all night and slept on the most uncomfortable chair bed that you could imagine. He sure does put up with a lot for me.
I love you Haas!!! Thanks for sticking with me the last 2 years!!!!
