Baby Tyson

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Thanks to everyone for all of the wonderful gifts and so many baby items, we really appreciate it. On Christmas Eve we decided to go do Fetal Photos which was so cool to see our little guy in 3D. After seeing the pics we decided that our little Tyson is going to look like his daddy. Same nose and all. It will be interesting to see these pics after he is born. The Dr that did the ultrasound said that you can see the baby alot better between 32-36 weeks and told us to come back and he would give us 2 more pics since we have a stubborn child and he didnt want to move to help us get some good pics. But here are a few. And yes he is still a boy!!!

OUCH!!!!!

So Haas and I went to the store the other day and we needed to buy replacement razors but they didnt have the 5 pack that we normally get so we decided to buy just the cheap disposable razors until they restocked the replacement razors. Well disposable razors suck!!!.
I was shaving on friday and somehow nicked my finger nail with those cheap razors and it completely took off my finger nail. It bled for days and hurt so bad. It is still killing. I keep hitting it on things and then it will start to bleed again. Never ever ever buy cheap razors.

My little snow bunny

Most everyone knows that I absolutely hate the snow. Haas got a taste of how much I hate the snow when I started crying on saturday because it had snowed. Well the snow doesnt seem to affect our little Berkeley at all. She loves it. She sits by the door and goes nuts until we let her out. We have been laughing so hard at her pouncing through the snow. She only comes back in when she gets cold and she just picks the little snow balls off of her paws and then she must go right back out otherwise you hear her cry and growl at us until we give in. Needless to say, we are going to get her a doggy door so we dont have to let her in and out all day long. But at least its giving me some excerise.

Power outage

On Tuesday we had a power outage at work that started at 9 am. At 11 they told us to leave but check backin at 1 to see if the power was back on. So Brittany and I decided to go shopping. We went to Downeast Basics, Roberts, and Michaels. ( nothing better than shopping on company time) At 1 we called to check in and we were told to leave for the day that the power was still out. YEAH!!!
So I decided that it would be perfect timing to go Christmas shopping for Haas. I had everything wrapped and put under the tree before he got home. While we were out shopping earlier I finally found my curly gold sticks to finish off my Christmas tree. Everyone keeps telling me to post pics but I couldnt because it wasnt finished so below are now pics of my tree completely finished!!!
It was so nice to actually get home before it was dark. I was able to go shopping,wrap presents, get the kitchen cleaned, the laundry cleaned and put away ( something I never do), floors swept, dishes done, play a game of scrabble with Haas, browse the internet for about 1 1/2 hours, take a bath, read, and watch a little tv all before 7 pm. Once 7 hit I didnt know what to do with myself. Normally I cant even get less than half of that finished by the time I get home. To top it off I will get paid for an entire day and I only actually worked for 2 1/2 hours. I love work power outages!!!

Dinosaur Museum

This weekend we took Nathan and Savannah to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. That was the first time I had been out that and it was so much fun. Nathan is able to name just about every dinosaur and he retains information on animals that would just amaze you. We saw the 3D dinosaur movie there which the kids liked but I was having such a hard time focusing with those glasses that I had a headache by the end of it. Here are some fun pics that I got.

Who is tougher?

Festival of Trees

Last night was the opening night of the Festival of Trees. This is a tradition that my mom and I had since I was little. We would always decorate a tree with her best friend Craig. These trees, wreaths, centerpieces, and gingerbread houses would be put up for auction on opening night and all proceeds go to Primary Childrens Hospital. This year I brought along my friend Maria, Haas and my mother in law Ellen. Its amazing to see all of the beautiful decorations that are auctioned off. There are some very talented people out there. I love that even though most of the stuff there costs alot less than they sell for, people know that the money will go to Primary's and they are always willing to pay so much more. Its nice to see that there are still generous people out there today. There was so much to see in a short amount of time. I think that I will go back later on this week and brave the crowds of people. ( Opening night is not as crowded). At the Festival I got to see Craig again which was my favorite part of last night. He has been like another father to me. He decorated a tree which was beautiful.
You never know when you might be in need. Remember to think of others needs before you think of your wants. I hope everyone has a happy holiday

Thanksgiving

Well this post is late but better late than never. I didnt get very many pics since my camera batteries died, but I will post what I have later. Erin and Jason came in from Atlanta on Tuesday. Since we had to work we didnt get to see them til Thanksgiving, but we were so glad that we got to spend so much time with them. The puppies went to their new homes on Thanksgiving also. Amanda and Paulo named their little guy Rex and Ellen and Felton named theirs Gus-Gus ( the little mouse from Cinderella. We had a great Thanksgiving and we can not wait to see Erin and Jason again soon!!!!
