29 weeks

I went to my 29th week checkup and what do you know my blood pressure was high. Its been high pretty much the entire pregnancy so I was told last month to keep track on my pressure and bring in the results to him at this last appointment. I dont have any other symptoms of preeclampsia so he has had me do a 24 hour urine collection. FUN!!! So Ive been sitting here all day doing that. On top of that I got a call from his office saying today saying that I failed the glucose screening for gestational diabetes. It has to be under 140 and mine was 144. So I get to go in on friday and for the 3 hour test where they will draw my blood 3 times (once every hour). SUPER FUN!. Can I get any more messed up?

i had him 5 weeks early, but i had a really RARE case, mine was more my kidneys shutting down, a high for the urine collection...my count ws OVER 1,000 and that is OUTRAGOUS...ecspecially because i had a normal blood pressure and no sugar OR protein in my urine the entire tim excpet for the few days before he was born...LITERALLY!!

*you'll be fine, i'm sure of it..like i said, i was RARE...ask him about the steroids if he is converned you will come early, it was too late for me but that helps baby boys develop faster so they hopefully won't have to be in the NICU if they are early! make sure you post your results!!
*i'm excited about "hawaiin
punch", ha ha ha!

sorry this is so FREAKIN' long, ha ha ha!

I had the early signs of pre-eclampsia. That is why Jackson came early. Take care of yourself the best you. You don't want the NICU experience that I had. Trust me. Good luck.

I know about all of this too! I went with thru it with my Justin. It's all worth it when it's done... I promise. Just hand in there... the rewards so outweigh all of this crap !
