Tyson is 5 months old today!!!! I haven't posted anything in a while. Not too much has been going on. Tyson is teething so we have good days and bad days. I can't wait for these teeth to come in.
Even though I have tons to do around the house I have found that I am starting to go crazy staying at home all day. Last week I decided to join Tooele mommies where stay at home moms can get together for play dates and field trips. I havent met anyone yet but im excited to. I also got out last week and met up with 2 friends from high school Mindy and Kelli. It was nice to see them and their kids. I also met up with Marisa on friday we went out to sushi at this awesome place called Fortune Cookie. They have great sushi and they bring out a ton of food at it is very well priced. We went to a cool place in Magna called Bears Den and then headed to Tracks where we met up with Breanna.Tyson had his first sleep over at Nana and Papa's while we went out. It felt so good to sleep in!!!
I also decided to start going to the gym again so I joined Gold's Gym. It's nice because they have child care that is included with the memberships. My goal is to get to my goal weight by the time we go to Atlanta. I also met with a personal trainer on monday.
I am thinking about taking Tyson swimming to see if he likes it since he loves the bath. Over all just trying to get out of the house more and not go crazy!!!

DEFINITELY take Tyson swimming! Weird, but lately I've been running into a lot of adults who don't know how to swim, and I'm so glad I don't remember ever learning, I just always knew how to do it (thanks Mom & Dad!).
Sounds like you're handling the transition to be a full-time mommy well...I bet it's tough. I mean, in theory it sounds great, but you've been getting up, driving to work, interacting with adults, etc, for YEARS. I'd enjoy not doing that routine for a while, but it would get weird. Great ideas to join the mommy group and going to the gym!
Stephanie, I agree on taking Tyson swimming. As the parent of a non-swimmer who's totally scared of water, the sooner you get him used to the water, the better. However, Dad's method may not be considered the best one, although it worked for us. It's the "throw-the-kid-into-the-deep-end-and-watch-him/her-flail-until-he/she-figures-it-out" method of swim instruction. It worked for us, what can I say? ;-) Growing up in Puerto Rico helped too.
It's a TOUGH transition to being a full time working person to a full time, stay at home mom--I really struggled with it. You're totally on the right track by getting out, joining activities, and taking care of yourself! I need to start going to the gym! Love ya!
