Both Haas and I agreed when we got pregnant with Tyson that we were going to wait to have another baby until Tyson was around 3. It makes sense, he will be potty trained or in the process of potty training, I can spend a good amount of time with just him. He will be starting preschool shortly after, and Tyson would be more independent so I can spend quality time with another baby too.
Well Haas now has been bugging me to get pregnant right away. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? I still remember being miserably sick, in and out of the hospital, pregnancy crazies, and he wants me to get pregnant again. I thought it had to be a joke. But he was trying to hide my birth control pills the other day.
I am holding my ground and we are not having another baby for a couple years. My foot is down and I am going to enjoy my baby until I forget how horrible pregnancy was!!!

Oh I don't blame you! I'm debating if I'll ever get pregnant again! I know I will but you are right, we need a long time to forget all that trauma.
yeah give yourself some time to get little Tyson out of diapers. He'll thank you later!! You're baby is adorable by the way!!
Is he crazy??? I can't imagine going through all that again so soon. Like you said you need your special time with little Tyson before you start all over again. It is nice to have them close together because then they will be close throughout their life but that is a little to close. Me and Shauna are 21 months apart and we loved being so close in again because you have the same interest. I don't think our kids are going to be even that close. Hang in there and keep your foot on the ground.
That is just hilarious about him trying to hide your birth control!!! I think it's great he is wanting another one, however a little space is good. Just let him know that as the mother, YOU will know when it is time!!

heh heh--yeah, I'd remind him there's an even more effective method of birth control available if he wants to be a jerk and hide your pills. It's called abstinence...lol
