Sheer Exhaustion

Ok everything I have read said that when you get into your 2nd trimester you are supposed to get your energy back. What I cant figure out is why I am more tired now than in my 1st trimester. I have been so exhausted that just sitting up in bed is making me tired. It doesnt matter how early I go to bed or how late I sleep, I am tired!!!

Rules for Halloween

Just in case you have forgotten the rules for a safe and Happy Halloween!

1. When it appears that you have killed the monster, NEVER check to see if it's really dead.

2. Never read a book of demon summoning aloud, even as a joke.

3. Do not search the basement, especially if the power has gone out.

4. If your children speak to you in Latin or any other language which they should not know, shoot them immediately. It will save you a lot of grief in the long run. However, it will probably take several rounds to kill them, so be prepared. This also applies to kids who speak with somebody else's voice.

5. When you have the benefit of numbers, NEVER pair off and go it alone.

6. As a general rule, don't solve puzzles that open portals to Hell.

7. Never stand in, on, or above a grave, tomb, or crypt. This would apply to any other house of the dead as well.

8. If you're searching for something which caused a loud noise and find out that it's just the cat, GET THE HELL OUT!

9. If appliances start operating by themselves, do not check for short circuits; just get out!

10. Do not take ANYTHING from the dead.

11. If you find a town which looks deserted, there's probably a good reason for it. Don't stop and look around.

12. Don't fool with recombinant DNA technology unless you're sure you know what you're doing.

13. If you're running from the monster, expect to trip or fall down at least twice. Also note that, despite the fact that you are running and the monster is merely shambling along, it's still moving fast enough to catch up with you.

14. If your companions suddenly begin to exhibit uncharacteristic behavior such as hissing, fascination for blood, glowing eyes, increasing hairiness, and so on, kill them immediately.

15. Stay away from certain geographical locations, some of which are listed here: Amityville, Elm Street , Transylvania, Nilbog (you're in trouble if you recognize this one), the Bermuda Triangle, or any small town in Maine .

16. If your car runs out of gas at night on a lonely road, do not go to the nearby deserted looking house to phone for help. If you think that it is strange because you thought you had 3/4 of a tank, shoot yourself instead. You are going to die anyway, and most likely be eaten.

17. Beware of strangers bearing strange tools. For example: chainsaws, staple guns, hedge trimmers, electric carving knives, combines, lawnmowers, butane torches, soldering irons, band saws, or any devices made from deceased companions.

18. If you find that your house is built upon a cemetery, now is the time to move in with the in-laws. This also applies to houses that had previous inhabitants who went mad or committed suicide or died in some horrible fashion, or had inhabitants who performed satanic practices in your house.

19. If you find that:
a. your house is built upon or near a cemetery,
b. was once a church that was used for black masses,
c. had previous inhabitants who went mad or committed suicide or died in some horrible fashion, or
d. had inhabitants who performed satanic practices in your house,
MOVE AWAY IMMEDIATELY.

20. Don't fool with recombinant DNA technology unless you're sure you know what you are doing.

My poor husband

So my poor husband has 2 pregnant women in the house. My baby girl Berkeley is pregnant and will be having pups in about 3 weeks. I just took her to the vet today and she is doing very well. In about 2 1/2 weeks I have to take her back in to see how many puppies she will be having. So now for the funny but sad story. I had read on the internet that dogs are pregnant for 90 days. So estimating it out we were thinking that she would have puppies around Thanksgiving. The other day Berkeley was acting funny and Haas was panicking thinking that she was having contractions. ( I think it was her getting sick from the skittles he was giving her) So we got online again and found out that dogs are pregnant on average from 63-65 days. That means puppies are now due in the middle of October. So we start panicking since we have never had pups before and we got on to uTube and watched some videos of dogs giving birth to see what we are going to need to do. Well the first video that we watched was of this little Jack Russell Terrier and she was crying so much I started bawling. I grabbed Berkeley and sat there crying for about 20 mins. I feel so bad. The other videos were fine but that was so hard to watch. I added the link in case you want to go check it out

Another appointment

I had another Dr Appt today and it went well. Haas got to come with me and hear the heartbeat since he missed it last time. It was a lot louder this time which made me happy. I did get some bad news though. We were thinking that he would do an ultrasound at my next appt since I would be 17 weeks but he said that he wont do one until I am 18-20 weeks so I will have to wait until Nov to find out what we are having. Im disappointed. Its such a long ways away and I am too anxious to find out and start shopping.

That damn tree is gone

Ever since we moved into our house I have absolutely despised that damn apple tree in our backyard. It was so ugly and I hated picking up the apples that would fall. Berkeley started eating them everytime we let her out and she would get so sick. Whoever landscaped our backyard did a horrible job and I am hoping to have the entire backyard finished before the baby is born. I have been complaining about the tree for so long that Haas finally decided he had enough of me complaining about it and he came home after his long day of work and started cutting down the tree before I got home. This is what I found when I got home. And look my brother even got off of his lazy butt and helped.

Look at all of those gross apples. Good Riddence

And just to show you how happy I am here is a big cheesy smile

Weekend Visits

This weekend went by so fast but for once I got a lot of much needed visiting in. On Friday I went to lunch with my cousin Susan. Even though we email each other every day all day we have been a little too busy to get together. We went to Applebees and the time flew by. We were there for 3 1/2 hours. It was great to see her!

Haas has been working so many days that he hasnt really had any time off and there is no end in sight. He was supposed to work this whole last weekend and got up to go to work on Saturday at 3:30. He left for work and about 20 mins later he came crawling back into bed. Someone volunteered to work for him!!!! We actually got to spend the whole weekend together. So we decided to go out shopping for some much needed clothes. Afterwards we went to visit Haas' parents. His dad had surgery about 2 weeks ago and was healing up really well. We even got some hope. They said that they were thinking about moving out about 10 mins from us. We both have been thinking that it would be wonderful if they lived closer. We are definately keeping our fingers crossed. After our visit Haas and I went to Tepanyaki. It is one of our favorite restraunts and its entertaining also.

On sunday we slept in for a little bit and went to brunch with our friends Troy, Marisa, and baby Emma. Emma is getting so big and she is now walking. I pulled out my camera and she turned into the biggest ham. She is a doll

Fair

I have not been to the fair since I was a kid so I decided to take Nathan and Savannah out there. We had so much fun. Nathan loved the rides and rode a few select ones over and over and over again. Savannah wasnt too interested in the rides so we got to have our sister time while Nathan rode the rides. I didnt realize how expensive the fair was but it was worth it.
