Our Atlanta Christmas

We decided that we were going to teach Tyson from his first Christmas on that Christmas is not about the presents but about spending time as a family and making memories instead of receiving gifts. So for his first Christmas we decided that we would be Atlanta bound to see his Aunt Erin and Uncle Jason!!! It was a bonus too that his Aunt Christi and Uncle Steve and cousins from Pittsburgh would be in Atlanta while we were there too.
Christmas morning we woke up early and headed to the airport. The plane that we were supposed to be on ended up having to head to Hawaii instead so they ended up changing us to a smaller plane which meant that they didnt have room for everyone on our flight so they asked for volunteers to catch the next flight out. I wasnt wanting too at first but they offered us each a $400 voucher to go anywhere within the next year!!! We decided not to pass up that opportunity. People were being so rude about the flight that when Haas went up to volunteer our seats they bumped us up to first class!!! First class rocks!!!!
I was really worried about how Tyson would do on the plane and if the pressure would hurt his ears but he did great and was so excited. He kept staring out the window and jabbering. All the flight attendents kept commenting on how well he was doing which made me proud of him for not being the screaming baby!!!

We got to Atlanta about 2 hours after our original flight and finally got to catch up with Erin and Jason. Tyson found a new friend in their dogs Shorty and Lola. We also finally got to see the fun Harry Potter room that is in their house. Tyson loves it and it is just his size
